Hello,
My name is Phil & I live in Northeast Florida. I collected coins with my dad in the 1960-1970's. We did some metal detecting too. I'm retired now & have been enjoying reading many of the forum discussions. Thank you for allowing me to join and learn about the hobby of collecting.

That's a tough place to detect. I have detected in Jax areas, Springfield, Lavilla, Riverside, East Jax near the old Gator Bowl. Didn't find much, but found 2 Barber dimes and some cool old bottles. I don't have my detector any longer.
I've been a member only a short period of time and this is a great place to sell, buy, and best of - just gather all the knowledge the members openly and freely pass on. No other place that I would rather be online than here. Welcome aboard.
