Rare Bryan money

Hello!
I’ve recently come across this somewhat rare piece of political satire and have done some research on the piece, I believe it to be a Bryan dime S-360. I have found little literature on the piece and also have no idea what it is worth, it being one of the rarer specimens of the Bryan money world, any insight? Thanks!

Fred Schornstein in his book "Bryan Money" lists it as "very rare".

Your piece is better than mine. This is listed in the Schornstein book as #360, and he says that it is "very rare." I bought mine probably about 20 years ago for $135. The dealer from whom I bought it recalled the piece years later and told me about having one without connecting me as his customer.

So far as what it would bring today, that is often dependent on the venue. If you could get it into a Heritage political items auction, two bidders could go crazy and carry it to the moon. Under normal circumstances, I doubt that it would reach $500.

Political tokens are not coins. The market is smaller, and the prices don't run as high for the same rarity.

An interesting item that will attract interest if offered to the correct market in the correct venue.

A quick search found that the last relevant auction record for a raw au S-360 was at $180. There are higher $ amounts for MS examples and 10 year old results as would be expected. I have always considered it a scarce but not rare piece as there always seems to be one around if you look hard.

It's one of the coolest Bryan Money designs in my opinion. A thin market, though. Ive had this one available for a long time, and no takers which surprises me a little. Maybe because PCGS gave it an AU grade instead of what it looks like to me, MS62PL

A herd, pod, flock, school, or is it a damn of Bryan’s?

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
