Quite awesome!
The toning adds tremendously to the eye appeal IMHO.
Maybe time for reconsideration?

There's a laser pointed just above Liberty's head!
It's a dwarf star!
Amazing! And still hard to believe that guy is supposed to be Lady Liberty...
Wow! Tremendous eye appeal. What a frick’in MONSTER quarter, especially for a 65.

That coin probably spent many years in a Wayte Raymond style album or holder to tone in that manner. Very eye-appealing!
Very nice!!
Damn! That's about as dark of toning I've ever seen that is still beautiful.

Great eye appeal, will go great with your others!
Agreed!
That toning seems designed to highlight the important elements of the obv and reverse.
Can you put me in your will. That way I will someday have all these beautiful coins that I could never afford to buy.

Beautiful!
As most of your specimens.

Now, not to take anything away from your gem. And not to compare my coin, in the least, to yours but the circumference's are similar. Why the blackness? Thank you.

@joeykoins always welcome to post photos on my threads Joey! Especially toned material. Washington looks a bit hammered, but I'm a sucker for blue toning! Here's one more of my all-time favorite quarters...This one is PF-65...Not even a + !!!!! Crazy...Love coins that look this good, that are graded super conservative.

Keep 'em coming!

@BustDMs Very funny! Hey I like those....What are they?
It was popular in Victorian England to enamel coins for use as jewelry, usually as pins. Most are British but other countries coins are available.

Did not know that. So then, the above reverse Bust Halves were legitimate coins that have been enameled?

Absolutely gorgeous!

Very pretty. Do you know anything about what collections it's been in before? It has a look I associate with big deal collections that matter.
Is that coin for sale currently @Eldorado9?
@mirabela - No idea what collection it came out of. It did come out of a Heritage auction recently.
@Inspired70 -Not for sale, but thanks for asking.

Nice collection, hard to pick a favorite but I like Summer Solstice a lot. Another good name would be Good Morning Sunshine.
Thanks for sharing.

That's a stunner! A coin like this is meant to be rotated under the light over and over and over again to be thoroughly enjoyed. Incredible!
