2000 d and p Sacagawea in dollars

I have multiple 2000 DMP minted sacagawean dollars that are not the shiny gold looking sacajawan dollars they are more of the dull rinsed looking type sacajawan dollars. My question is why do they look like this? It looks like the mints almost washed them in some type of chemical that made them look delish and not real shiny and gold like. I have one more question to add to that. Is there anything of valley from these coins being like that or are they just worth the dollar?

It’s possible that it could be burnished planchets. Ultimately value is determined by condition. Without seeing pictures or knowing more and making some assumptions then I would guess $15-25 each.

Without seeing pictures, I'd guess $1 each.
I've had a bunch of odd looking sacs. They tone weird and sometimes looks like soapy water dried on them. Lol

True, but that’s why I was making some assumptions. If nothing else to show that they aren’t going to make anyone rich.

If they are uncirculated and have a uniform burnished finish, that is one thing.
These sound more like what happens when you handle the sacs and get your skin oil on them... they turn golden brown like a flapjack, or ugly brown like something brown and ugly.

I have a few from mint rolls that look sort of greenish and waxy.
