Coin number 181. Two left to complete the 10 year project. This one was free.

Last year the mint sold the End of World War II 75th Anniversary American Eagle Gold Proof Coin on Nov 5th with the mintage of 1945 pieces and I did not get thru on the first day. I did keep trying every morning and the weekends too and on Nov 29th a Sunday morning I was one of the lucky ones to get thru.
All the profits from that coin so far have paid for my 1952 Large D MS 65 and now this MS 66+ 1936 D with a sticker. I believe I have enough left to pick up my 1937 s and than will have to pay for a 1934 d to finish up this set.
It has been a fun 10 year project started at 55 and will finish at 65.
Enjoy Tom

Very nice ... and congratulations on your 'almost' complete set..... A long project, but very satisfying to complete. Then you have to identify your next project....
Cheers, RickO

Dare I ask... what happens when it is complete?

That’s a massive endeavor! How about making a digital album so we can see the whole set?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. When the set is complete there are no plans to start any other series. I will do a few upgrades on this set but think money will go towards a place where its warm during the winter. Here is the link to my picture coin album.
Enjoy Tom
