General Dynamics 1922 Peace Dollar Overstrike...

Been quite awhile since I purchased this and still can't find any info on it. There are plenty of aluminum and brass tokens, but no Peace Dollar overstrikes. Any ideas? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

First off.......uber cool!
Secondly, which I apologize greatly but at least it will get a small bump......I remember reading about this one but don't remember it said. I usually take a screen shot and notes so, I will do a few computer searches and see what I find. Maybe someone who knows more will come along

I have not been to any meetings for the local coin club (Coineers) I joined in years now. But it was originally a club inside Convair/General Dynamics. One or some of the older guys (they are all older guys) might be familiar or have one. I'll need to remember this in case I get to a post-pandemic meeting some day.

That's a great piece! I'm guessing the Peace dollar and any other overstrikes may be one offs and that is the reason there's no information on it.
Let me know if you're ever thinking of giving it a new home
The General Dynamics Astronautics division put out some nice material, both print and medals.
The document above shows the logo in grayscale, but here it is in color!
