Won't be much interest in it. Most, if not all, other coin forums are free. People would just go elsewhere.
Disagree when it comes to experienced collectors because PCGS is the industry leader. Sure it’s a bad idea for a number of reasons including attracting new talent.
But I think the OP‘s question is would you pay not why would you not pay.

I think PCGS should pay us, at least the ones who provide regular positive content. This forum is an easy way for them to keep a finger on the pulse of their customers. Other industries pay outside consultants huge money for this data. Our collective input here also hugely promotes their brand.
Solid.
Me, I'd just drop out and find something better to do..
Don't worry you bunch of cheap skates They would only need to raise the annual grading membership $15.00 to cover this place and I wouldn't have to miss any of you.
I think I'm gonna raise my prices just keep up with the inflation. Why not everyone else is...
I will miss this place. Hopefully we can read the posts. I can live with out my foot in my mouth on a public setting.
We shall see but not a dime from me. 🤨

$10.00 a year would be better.
No. That is not a good idea. Now, back to regular forum reading/commenting. Cheers, RickO
I'd pay a lot more than $15/year. This forum is well worth it. Of course, free is better!
Dave
Pcgs also gets the benefit of having some degree of control over the conversation by hosting the forum. That is worth something to them
I thought "Ricko" was manager of the forum? I'll send him a coupon for a foot long sandwich to keep him happy!

Hello?
Yeah I’ve got a steel 1944 penny. How much is it worth?
We can’t say but you can ask the nice people on our forum…
(cross post to $15/yr thread)
No fees
Why would somebody pay a fee here to be quoted by some quote troll bottom feeder griefer?
Will it include one free grading? 🤯
Hoard the keys.
Maybe I'll just encrypt my posts and sell the decryption key. They'll be worth it!
