I haven't done a 'What Do You Think Series' in quite a while. This one was found in the raw for a few hundred dollars more than the 1914-D in another post and then graded by our hosts. Quality for the grade? what do you think? PCGS #43269176

I sent this quarter eagle through conservation services. They decided, I believe, to not remove the green wax nodules you see in different places. I am told these accumulate from being in a leather pouch? any thoughts?

Nice looking coin.
I just sold one today in on old holder 64.
This is an undervalued date imo.
Holler if for sale.

It looks gorgeous with glowing surfaces that are really devoid of major marks, but appear to have wispy (and some not so wispy) hairlines scattered about. I like the look quite a bit. The green splotches I have also seen from gold coins stuffed in leather purses for many years. That appears to be a seriously nice coin.

Thanks guys. @TomB - I saw those as well. As part of the large deal, I purchased an 1854 $3 Gold as well with the same wispy lines. At a higher price, I decided to remove that one from inventory and return it to seller. You might be able to see it in front of the Princess' nose bridge.
Shared for comparison sake.

Really nice gold coin.... You have done well on those purchases.... Cheers, RickO
For those of you who didn't look, grade came back as MS64+
Have a great weekend everyone.
@ricko Will get the info out as it comes in.
