Found a bank that has 7 rolls of half dollars and found a 40% coin! I call that a win!

My local bank called me the other day, they had somebody bring in several rolls of halves found quite a few 40%, but they wouldn't let me pay them the value "like what i would pay somebody coming into the shop" said they couldnt take it over face value, so I gave the tellers a gift card so they could have lunch or snacks on me one day.
Good find... I searched many, many rolls of halves over the years... never found a 40% Kennedy.... Just one WLH. Cheers, RickO

I have several 40% Kennedy pick ups from the local bank teller.
They were in the tellers draw.
I have not gone into a bank in a long time so no more roll searching for now.

Years ago when I worked at a grocery store, I walked in to a manager that started chewing me out and a friend trying to get a word in to say something to me. After talking with him the next day, I learned that someone had spent upwards of 140 walking liberty and franklin half dollars at a register. I completely missed out on that.
