Regency mint Proof 1/2 ounce off center

I know its not a US coin error, but it must have some value besides melt. Opinions?

How do you know it's Regency Mint? I don't see any mint marks or names.
I searched online and the details in the coin match the Regency mint 1/2 troy ounce Walking Liberty rounds. @thefinn

Some curiosity value, but unlikely to have much value. A private mint can make as many of those as they want and there aren't that many collectors.
Given the way smaller mints feed blanks, it has to be intentional.
I have a one ounce silver round that is significantly offcenter. As stated above, a private mint can make any number of them.
I paid a small premium for mine as a curiosity but I don't expect to see much increase on value unless due to silver prices.
it is running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
I worked there and this stuff never left the mint. A few of the major errors were sold, but off-center strikes were culled and remelted. AND, all pieces had a mint mark or name.
@thefinn yes at the bottom of the obv. Mine is obviously cut off.

@thefinn You worked at the Regency mint so you should be able to recognize my off center coin and confirm that thats what it is. Also if coins can escape from the US mint that aren't supposed to. Like proof off centers or clover leaf Eisenhower struck on 3 dime planchets etc. It could have been taken from the Regency mint by an employee right?

By the way, a lot of bullion sellers have copied that design.
If you look between the Eagle's legs, there is a maker's mark on yours that is missing on the Regency coin.
I can't make out what it is. Maybe more feathers?
But different, in any case, perhaps to avoid copyright infringement?
Because it's just a bullion coin I'm not sure any type error would be worth any kind of premium. Silver is silver no matter what shape it's in.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
I think my two half ounce silver bimetals & one ounce silver cancel die strikes in right of photo were struck by Regency.
That piece would be considered just bullion.... I doubt it would command any premium in the market. Cheers, RickO
Melt: $11
Value as an Error: $30-$40, imo
Bullion only.

Kennedys are my quest...
I was right, my cancel die strikes are Regency Mint products.
I recall Regency sold various mated pairs, die cap strikes and odd center 1/2 oz pieces like yours via ebay after the cancel die strike 3 piece bi-metals set closed. I did not buy any 1/2 ounce errors.
I bought three cancel die strike sets before they prematurely ended production. Set #007 pictured above was plate coin set from Coin World article
@FredWeinberg thanks I knew it had to be worth more than melt.

@LindyS Do you recall the selling price. Were the off center 1/2 oz in the Coin World article?

The silver 1/2 oz errors like yours were listed in their ebay auctions. I cannot recall final hammer prices, but they did offer a couple dozen cool errors over time. 1/2 ounce errors were not in Coin World's Olympics canceled die strikes article. Regency sold their US Mint X canceled USA $ die via same account on ebay
