Jimmy Cracked Corn & I Don't Care: Overpaying (on purpose) 3Xs for a common Ike

I wanted a circulated silver Ike, and I found this one. The asking price was much too much, but I caved and BIN'ed anyway. The only sad part is the original destination. I didn't know coins could even be sold there- especially U.S. coins...

    Wow and I guess you wanted an Ike. I’ve done it but I don’t recall buying from that area. eBay is there. There’s some pretty good deals on eBay for Ike’s. But I really understand I would like it now or I want that one. Keep us posted. 😉

    Well, this has piqued my interest. If genuine, I have a circulated set of Ikes. This one will fit nicely into (the reason for the purchase). If it is a counterfeit, I have a DANSCO 7070 typeset this Ike will fit nicely into. It will save me from having to purchase a Moonlight Mint Ike for that spot.

    Their counterfeits are much higher quality, though.

    I'm 95% sure it's fake. Look at the surfaces and mushy strike.

    Upon further reflection, I think I'll pick up the next milk-spotted and scuffed up Blue Pack Ike I find and cut it out of the cellophane and make it my pocket piece for a year. Then I'll list it on ebay. :p
