In Search Of --- Hot and Dirty, Original with Character

Made you look!
.
What happens when see a coin that checks all the boxes on a weekend from a seller you haven’t done business with yet who rarely has much that lingers?
In my case, those boxes are ... an attractive look with good color and surfaces, “original” crust, strong strike and plenty of character … and a tough die marriage to boot never hurts.
Well, when she’s hot and speaks to you ... you write an email, and hope and pray you get first shot to make an offer.
I did and I did and we made a deal and she arrived today and I am super happy, albeit my wallet noticeably lighter.
Guess the grade, state the marriage, tell me what you think … would love to hear your thoughts.

58, maybe 105. I know very little about these as I don’t collect them.
Fantastic coin with a great strike and xtra cool clashes! The gold/green toning is sweet too. Really nice.

She IS hot, looks like a coin worth stepping up for.
Beautiful, AU58? Don't know Overtons, though.
What a lovely bust half. I like everything about it. Strike, luster, color. Awesome.
Usually the worn "a" die state is tougher. Not so in this case. Great pick-up, Todd.
Lance.
I don’t collect Bust, but really cool to see the reverse motto letters clearly on the obverse.
And all the die cracks.
Man, these things were a hot mess!
58.
Nice clash marks and nice coin.
58 nice pickup
I won’t say the grade or the die marriage since I already know, but what I will say is, awesome choice Todd!
I love the look on this early date CBH! It has a great strike, very nice surfaces and obviously luster, not to mention beautiful toning and excellent overall eye appeal!
And like Lance said, the earlier die state of this DM is much tougher to find, especially in this grade, great pick up and congrats on another awesome addition to your set!

AU55 but probably graded as AU58. A very nice original coin. I have no idea as to Overton number as those have never gotten me very excited.
I agree with the AU 55-58 area for grade... No idea on Overton...nice die clash though. Cheers, RickO
AU58 Very nice coin.

I am guessing 58, no idea on the marriage. I like clashed coinage and this one got an audible wow. Congratulations on getting a really nice coin.
Absolutely gorgeous Bust. 107 and AU55-58. Congratulations on a great pickup Todd. I know how proud you will be with this addition. I love the die clash and die cracks.

Beautiful coin, AU-55
55 with some crazy character and cool clashes
Thanks for all the comments! I really love the look of this coin. Lance saw the picture and texted back, "Oh, she's hot", which gave me the idea for how to push the thread.
She's an O-107 in PCGS 58, and the grade fits in my assessment. So far as I know it has not been to see JA yet, but I'd think she has a decent shot at a bean.
The 107 is tough R4 marriage and this girl is one I couldn't find a match for in any previous action records, in any plastic. If anyone thinks they find a match, please let me know. There are a couple 107's listed which are really obvious 107a's.
I feel fortunate in the respect I paid what seems strong for a 58 for the date, but not nearly so much for what I would have expected for the marriage.
