Show reports please.... I will be at a gun show all weekend (with a side trip to the Garlic Festival)... I will report on any coin tables at the gun show. There is usually a coin jeweler at the Garlic Festival....Cheers, RickO
The one in Gilroy, CA?
@Connecticoin... No, in Saugerties, NY....Almost as large as the Gilroy festival...Cheers, RickO
Cool, I will look into it - could be a nice fall drive from CT.

Say hello to Ed Duran, great guy, fair dealer.
I've dealt with him for more than 10 years, probably 20 years.
Fair & honest.

No show report?
Every one stayed home to watch and celebrate the Jets and Giants win their first game of the season.
I didn't make it. I was hoping to hear how it went in comparison to the last show.

The show had about 2/3 of the tables occupied which is unusual as they are usually sold out
A lot of the dealers had the same old stock it seemed but there were a few new dealers and that is where I did business
The first coin was a 1938-D Buffalo ms66 in a old PCGS 2.1? I think holder
The next 2 were 1881-S and 1882-S Morgan’s MS 62 & 63 in old PCGS 2.1 ?holders. The coins are nice and the holders are nice also.
I will post pictures later
Seemed to be a lot of buyers for modern gold and for avg circ Morgan’s
Dealers who had fair priced gold and silver were selling but there was a lot of overpriced junk silver
I was interested in a 1901 or 1904 ten dollar liberty in a old slab but the dealer looked at it from all angles for 2 minutes then quoted me $700 over bid. No sale
I like to see prices on coins
There was one dealer with bags of foreign coins and there were people sorting thru them reminds me of collecting as a kid
So long for now
Btw there is a good sized show Oct 23 on. Saturday in Linwood NJ outside of Atlantic City I will have a table there with prices!
Ha ha
