    That's a pretty funky looking '14-D.

Looks fake to me. The mintmark seems to have a hit on it. Surfaces look wrong.

    I'm leaning toward counterfeit.

The tips of the Wheat ears looks rounded!
look at the E & P in E Pluribus unum!
The "C" in cent with its flattened out upper and lower curves!
America looks like sloppy free hand!
So many fonts poorly form, can a cheap digital camera deform the lettering like that?
This coin just looks wrong in so many ways.

Even if real that's one to stay away from.

I was looking at the Crispy Cream "R" in America, look at the slanted letters, dropping lower leg on some of the "E"

I agree, that's the reason for no source, and asking for opinions. This is the first of a 14-D like this I've came across, all the others were obvious altered 44-D's.

    I don't like it.

I am leaning towards genuine (later die state), with issues, including: rim ding directed at "GOD"; environmental degradation; cleaning. Better pictures would be needed to be sure.

I wouldn't buy it unless it was pretty cheap (and returnable).

I'm also leaning legit, but like dcarr said... with a bunch of issues. That said, I still can't rule out an added MM with the hit to the "D" and crummy pictures...

It has been cleaned. The area around his ear is not the usual wear you see on authentic Lincoln cents.

Based on the images... I lean towards authentic... However, I would need that cent in hand before making a buy decision. Not sure about the mark below the left wheat ear..... The ding on the MM worries me... Strange wear on Lincoln. All issues that need to be examined in hand. Cheers, RickO
