That's nice! The '43-P comes well struck. The usual weakness in this one is found in the upper gown lines (per the reference literature). Yours doesn't have that weakness, very well struck and very clean! Full gown lines Nice!
A collector can obtain a very desirable well struck eye-appealing WLH for a reasonable outlay. One of the many reasons the series is so very popular. Congratulations.
I think it was a good buy. I remember when common-date Walkers in 65 were $100-$105 (they're down but moving back up) and common-date Morgans in 65 were $100 (above that now). But they are both down from where they were in the late '80s. Common-date Morgan dollars in 65 were $500, and you couldn't keep them in stock.

The walking liberty half dollar is the best silver coin of the 20th century hands down. Large coin, beautiful design, affordable coin in late date ms 65-66. Adolph Weiner amazing coin designer, only rivaled by his mercury dime.
Excellent coin at a good price. My favorite silver coin... That was big money when I was a kid. And yes, they were in common circulation then. Cheers, RickO

Very nice purchase. It’s getting very hard to find NGC 3.0’s under a $100 and your comes with a very nice Walker.
I’d offer you $125 on the spot, this spot.
