Ebay seller selling a complete set of MS66FS war nickels.

Just sent this ebay seller a note telling them that they may wish to edit their auction as none of the PCGS coins are FS coins and they are not all MS66. Hope its just a mistake. For the selling price they are asking a young or novice buyer might jump on these coins. Hope they edit the auction.

Nice that you warned the seller... Not to make a mis-step... 😜
Well the seller answered my post and told me that the public was more than capable to see what was offered by the photos and that it was an MS66 set, except one MS65(actually two), but an MS67 would make up for that. Only one MS66FS in the entire set. They also said that ebay didn't allow more room in the title to be more specific. I tried.
If interested the auction is

I don't see a problem. Coins, with grades, are clearly shown. The seller is right, it is hard to specify a mismatched set like that in the title.
For what it’s worth, there is a description with years and grades of each coin. Not sure if he added that after you messaged him but doesn’t seem like he was trying to be deceiving, just an ambiguous title.

Hard to specify, so list as something much better?

"Complete Silver War Nickel PCGS Registry Set, MS65-67." Shorter, more accurate title.

Title: ‘Silver War Nickel Registry Set PCGS MS66 Complete FS Basic War Set, Circulation’
Ummm….that’s a tad inaccurate.

I don’t see any issue. The grades are there and it’s a nice set.
Come on, 1 out of 11 ain't bad
There is certainly an attempt to get you to click on the set with the fancier, over-hyped title. But, so what? This forum is full of click bait thread titles.
Ironically, even the title of this thread is wholly inaccurate.
My point is that there is nothing remotely nefarious going on. The coins are all accurately portrayed in the listing.
You might as well complain about the comment in the listing about how difficult it would be to assemble such a set. That is also hogwash.
1st world problems folks. There's no con going on here. There's no counterfeits being sold. Slightly click bait title on an otherwise wholesome listing.
At least the listing did not use the word MONSTER
Yes... some exception can be taken to the title... but the full picture of the slabs and grades covers a bit of marketing hype.... Cheers, RickO
I agree the seller is fishing for idiots but I don’t agree that I should care

He listed the PCGS Official set name (and the system truncated it after complete it would seem). The description show the full name.
What is the actual GPA of this set?

I had lunch with you Moser at the FUN show 1/10. You sold me a GSA with burlap toning on Libertys’ face (cash at the luncheon). So be nice IF you respond, please.
BUT, do you know for sure he’s not on the eBay police force? I could talk about some of your listings but I respect you too much🙄.
Mui? I am always nice. I remember the lunch and the deal. I wish all my customers do as well as you did on that coin. Sometimes my words do bring out other people's daemons, so I can apologize for that. Not sure what you mean otherwise. Unless I resort to cherry-picking when buying estates, I will always have inventory that is "less than par" Will I get it all right? Most probably not, but thanks for thinking enough of me that I would. I do not make this stuff, I am just addicted to playing with it, and it's why I am here.
I mean I am all for everyone chipping in to keep things straight, but there is nothing "sinister" enough going on in that ad requiring the commensurate spanking.
He had me curious so I went to look at your store. Either the link in your sig is bad or you no longer have a store!
