No idea. Perhaps a little more information might be useful.
Well it's heavy it's hard but I can smash it it's really malable I found on the side of a river bottom.. and it streaks a shiny gold color
It's only the size of a baseball but it weights almost to three pounds
I texted the steak with acid an it didn't disappear.
It's the color of gold what else could I do ?
looks like Pyrite to me.
Does look like some 'crystals' are in there. But I though pyrite is brittle... and would break when hit.
Perhaps take it to a coin dealer and have it zapped with xrf tester?
Doesn't brake so easy when it does brake the pieces are really malable it surprisingly soft but hard
Check with a jeweler... It does not 'look' like typical gold nugget....but that could be lighting.... Be sure to let us know what you find out. Cheers, RickO
So, what is it? You indicate "answered?"
Looks and sounds like it could be mica, but who knows from the picture.
Haven't found out yet guys but look this I polished it,,😁
Oh and I crushed it down to powder almost and I roasted it with a torch this is the outcome
Its not gold.
What does gold look like?
That's a pic of fake gold being tested with acid and the rock being tested with acid I think the rock passed
Since you can crush it to a powder, it's not gold.
