Now that you've won the 2021 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Reverse Proof set...

Congrats, now what will you do with it? Be honest.
1. Flip it as soon as you get it
2. Flip it after the early flippers are done selling their's
3. Keep it for your collection and posterity
4. Send it in to be graded
5. Leave it in the box unopened to decide later
6. Tear the box open the second they arrive, to check their condition/look for flaws, or errors

Me, #5 and it won't be easy. I will see photos of the one's some of you got.

Once set goes to me, forever entombed in the original Mint packaging.
Who knows, I may buy a PCGS RP69 set later if it’s close to issue price.

I'm definitely a gonna keep it. I ordered it (after trying for 46 minutes) for my collection. Now if I could have ordered more than 1 then all of those extras would be sold.

Ill sell mine, i dont keep moderns. Only eagles i ever kept for a short period of time were 95-w's that came thru.

I did not get one of the v75 gold's, but if a nice one ever came in the shop, and I could get it for a fair price, Id buy it to keep.

I'd be 3 and 6. Still have the 2019 S ERP and 2020 V75 ASE both in OGP I got from the mint.

Will they be put in a double slab, or do you get to choose separate slabs?

I'll be doing #3 and #6. Number six because, for me, there isn't any pleasure in owning a coin if I can't look at it.

I have WAY too much stuff in status #4. I think I'll #4 these. And then send in the Morgans later.

Circulate them both in my pocket till they're in low AU condition, then submit. Both will be one of one and sell them for moon money. If you're going to sell, strike while the iron is hot, sell them immediately. In a couple of weeks this issue will be old hat and on to the next big thing. I always wonder about those who pay lofty amounts of money for a mint issue product. What comes to mind is the 3/4 oz. gold Kennedy, wasn't there people who forked over $5k and more for this?

4 for both of my sets, I want 70 or nothing. I figured I would double down to ensure I get that

Mine will be kept too. To fill the 102nd and final hole in the Heraldic Eagle set.

They will also become the 21st and 22nd precious metal reverse proof coins issued so far.

@Twobitcollector - I like your display. Is that an album page designed for capsules? If so, who sells them?

3&6. I started in 2015 and have a complete set. It’s no fun if it’s sitting in a sealed box

  • MetalMetal Posts: 122 ✭✭✭

4, along with about a dozen other eagles I have sitting here still sealed in the mint boxes.

How early on did you get the 95w?

Don’t have the 95, only every one from 2015 on. I do have the 2019 S erp and a couple of privy ASE. Just plain old dumb luck getting on the mint website early and hitting the reset a few times. Now I also have the set released yesterday.
