Tough choice, I like the reverse on the first coin (top) however the obverse, at least from the images, seems to look a little flat. Conversely, the second coin (bottom) looks like it was perhaps dipped? I prefer more of an original skin but again, pictures can be deceiving some times.

In the end I think I'd go with the second (bottom) coin. Though not with a strong conviction.

I pretty much think the way you do .

The first is a NGC 63 and the second is a NGC 64+

I like the skin a lot better in the first

D&P in RESPLANDORES state ....."higher grade examples ( than a EF+) are virtually not obtainable".......

Considered rare by D&P in this grade.... ....top pop at PCGS whilest there is one in 63 at NGC .
