Too much wear for AU. I'd call it XF45 and community property.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
The way the lighting hits the coin from about 9-10 o'clock makes me wonder if the rims haven't been played with. Compare the obverse rim at 8'oclock that has a wire edge.
The braids on the headdress show more wear than the top of the eagles shoulder feathers makes me wonder if this wasn't in a necklace at sometime in it's past. There are a lot of hairlines on the reverse.

Looks like nice honest wear for a XF-45

Low AU to these eyes.
I would grade it XF45...based on the excellent picture. Cheers, RickO

Going by the wear I see I’d say AU-50. I can’t really judge the luster from pics.
XF45 - nice looking coin

AU50. The wear is a better fit for AU than for XF45. No luster, though.

Proud of you guys. I was certain I would have seen counterfeit.
Nice one guys….it’s a XF45 graded by PCGS.
Here it is…..

That is a very nice 45, congrats.
This is a 45 I'd send to CAC
Nice 45. Can you comment as to the luster? That's the one problem I had with it, despite it having the details of a 50.
