Your subscription will automatically place your order for the product each year it is offered until you cancel/change your subscription to the item or until your credit card info is no longer valid. The subscription process is ideal for the collector who buys each year's issue of the same product. Also, not a bad idea to initially place an order for a higher quantity in case the issue is hot/projected sellout as are these ASE proofs. One can always lower the quantity right before issue but as we are witnessing with these ASEs one sometimes cannot increase the quantity.
Is it known beforehand how many have already subscribed...and how many will be left for the peasants?

Agreed. Enrollment is the only way I'm buying coins from the Mint. It would be beautiful if they opened up more coins to enrollment.

I have most of my mint coins on enrollment and agree it's the best way. In regards to having more options opened up, I was getting the reverse proof innovation dollars, but they were not available for subscription. I emailed the mint, talked with a customer service on chat, and on the phone asking about a reverse proof innovation dollar subscription, never got a response that it would happen, but about 2 months later I got an email it was opened for subscription. Not sure if it was coincidence or if my inquiries made a difference.
Seeing how the change on the reverse of this coin has really stimulated interest and sales, do you think the next change will come quicker than 35 years?
