HAPPY 4th to you and everyone else as well. Don't over do it š
This holiday was always a favorite of mine. The little town I grew up in was known for a major celebration on the 4th... Huge parade, fireworks, free hot dogs and soda given out by the Firemen (small town... they did it each year back then), picnics at the sports field. Lots of firecrackers... Now, they still do the parade and nightly fireworks...and people come from miles around to enjoy the day. Cheers, RickO
Happy 4th. Enjoy the fireworks if your locality has them.
Have great weekend everybody! We deserve a good holiday after the past year and a half.
Here is my one coin that is dated 1776.

let all of those out there in our fair country remember while she isn't perfect, there aren't many places on this earth that can't compete with the whole of this country and the many working parts.
be safe and appreciate the sacrifices that were and are made.
so much more to say but i'm in the "less is more" camp on this one.

One of my favorite history books is "John Adams" by David McCullough. It's not only a well written biography onf Adam's but provides a lot of insight on the Revolutionary War and how very special and unique the Founders were in ultimately making the decision to declare independence and the incredible fortitude it required to see the effort through to the final victory. Definitely something to celebrate.
Happy 4th of July!

Have safe and sane 4th.
