This is what I get for playing at the $5 blackjack table.

I am clearing out some old early 1990's junk boxes. I usually don't sell stuff at that price level (+/- $20) since shipping is too much. But I was tired of looking at them so I blew them out with an average net of $2 each.

I get a neg by a newbie buyer accusing me of resealing the boxes because he pulled no good cards out of a 1991 Donruss Baseball Wax Box. I don't know what he expected to pull from a $20 box. Here is the id to protect yourself.

Lame... chat with CS and see if they will remove it since you have Feedback history and he didn't open a case. Mention that the buyer is using his experience with a product unrelated to yours as a baseline.

Love the $5 blackjack table analogy. He seems like a guy who sits on third base and “goes with his gut” and hits a 12 with the dealer showing a 5.

Loved the subject line of this post, and reminds me of the blackjack scene in Swingers (great movie!).

I'm going to let it go. I've sold 5 more boxes since the neg, so I guess the market agrees with me. Everyone do me a favor and block him. He doesn't deserve our hobby.

A newbie on ebay can make you a newbie under a different I. D. Lol, be careful. eBay should have some sort of protection in place before it happens.... Not afterwards. Nothing but stress

Why "con artist"? What could he have possibly expected to gain from his "con"? Idiot I will readily grant you, but I just don't see a con here. He didn't even try to hold the OP up for a partial/total refund or file a SNAD claim, and if he were conning in that manner he'd be likely todo it on a box worth far more than $20 (delivered?)
