Kennedys are my quest...
Looks like a very nice show with lots of dealers and lots of very nice material to view, I hope the collector traffic was better than the photos suggest. And congrats on your new additions, those are a couple of very nice looking proofs.

Yea it seems void a bit but every table had at least one customer looking or buying a coin at a time
Looks like a nice time!![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Below is the twin sister to your 1883 Seated Quarter and the big sister the 1873 Seated Liberty Half w/arrows. I picked these up at the same table (Elizabeth Coggan Numismatics). These were my first transactions at her table and she was amazingly friendly from transactions that I saw her do with her customers. I did my transactions at her table with a gentleman who was very patient with me as he pulled out many of the same coins over and over again while I was trying to decide what to purchase. I thought I recognized him after my second transaction, but I could not figure out where I remembered him from. After my second purchase and speaking with him for about 10 or 15 minutes I told him a story (from 1999) about me selling my 1907 High Relief $20 gold to a gentleman named Miles at J.J. Teaparty in Boston; he point to his lanyard and said, "I'm Miles". I was blown away. I knew that many years back Liz Coggan worked for J.J. Teaparty, but I never knew that Miles stayed with her when she started up Elizabeth Coggan Numismatics. It was great catching up with him and going back and forth with some old stories of the three coin shops that were within 150 feet of each other on Bromfield Street in Boston. What a blast from the past. It brought back some great memories of when I first collected coins in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

@divecchia awesome 👏.
Yea, Coggan was great 👍. I was able to get the price down by $130 and also traded some of my Morgan’s through negotiation. Awesome dealer with awesome coins👍 I saw the twin you bought but chose mine for the cameo appearance and the more affordable price
That was a great pickup for you, for sure. I looked at both coins 2 or 3 times and was leaning towards yours also. You chose for me, so I opted for the other as it was clean with no distracting marks or hairlines.

Yea hard choice as both were absolutely stunning
Btw what time were you at the show, I was 10:30-12:50, we might have crossed paths
Great report and great pickups. Very encouraging to see an active show and active collectors finding great coins!
Best, SH

I was at the show from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. You bought the coin as I came back to the table to ask Miles to look at it for the third time. He pointed to Liz and said that she had it. I then had Miles pull out the other Seated Quarter to buy it while you were working your deal with Liz. There where 2 guys between us looking through a bunch of coins, so I never looked over to get to see you. You likely left while I was entrenched in conversation with Miles so I never got to see you.
Edit to add: I also so many of the pattern pieces that you photographed above at Long Island Coin (Chris Imperato's table). He likes to do show and tell and pulls the coins out and explains the history of the piece or backstory to it. He is a genuine great guy also.
