It's nice to, finally, see a more normal looking obverse!

I want one of these. Fingers crossed I get one in my change soon.

I can't wait to get them as well

I got one in my change yesterday. I normally don't check my change but it's proof like surfaces grabbed my attention. I actually put it in a saflip and put it away.

It may be the lighting, but the relief on Washington's profile on the obverse looks to me to be a little bit deeper on these than on other recent issues. I hope this is correct, but fear it is not.

    I thought the same thing.
The obverse does seem to be in deeper relief, and the majority of the coins I have seen are PL or nearly so.
Nice job on the obverse. I don't like the reverse....I can sense what the designer wanted to portray, but Washington's coat blowing in the wind looks more like a case of severe bloating.

I got a box of them the other day, most are very PL but my photo doesn't show it well.

Has anyone noticed the typesetting. Um, that's not the proper curve for that line.
Type setting 101, and basic eye appeal tells that error.
    But that's just me.
I have one and will look again, although was missed if the same style ?

I have been looking for one of these.... in change of course. They have not hit this quiet little mountain town yet. Cheers, RickO

Rolls of these available on the BST. Not looking to get rich, just cover my time and expenses and get them into collectors' hands.

I think it’s an ugly design!

I believe you're correct. The comparison coin is a 2020 MBR. The '21 looks a wee bit bigger to me as well. 🤷‍♂️

    Was the hub reengraved?

I'm seeing significant differences. Look at the ear. I'm seeing an extra lock (lowest) on the 2021. Look at the differences in the ribbon tying the hair. Three even ties on the 2021, only two on the 2020. looks like they lessened the slight chin sag on the 2020.

Does the 2021 match any earlier hubs? Is this a new one?

Don't blink, they're only going to be around for this year! ;)

I got one about a week ago. At first glace when the cashier handed me my change, I thought it was a bicentennial quarter.

Wonder what the final mintage figure will be - probably like the Bicentennial Quarters where there were so many minted that they never really were worth saving. This would have been a perfect time to have the 2 million W's minted and mixed in for circulation.

Would be nice if they could keep the obverse “normal” (date on obverse) during the next run of “commem” quarters.

Much prefer the obverse of the 2021. The 2020 appears cluttered and I like the open fields on the 2021. I also like the reverse design with the exception of the font used in "e pluribis unum". Something about it lacks visual appeal for me.

Here's hoping for a dateless 'obverse of 2020' transitional variety with the crossing the Delaware reverse...

Would've loved to see an eagle on the reverse. Old school. Maybe in 2032?

Found six of these in a couple rolls last night. Would have been nice if this design would stick around awhile. How many different quarter designs have we endured in the last 50 years?? Just over 100?

Will the 2021 coins be considered new members of the 1932-1998 set? I think they should be, even with the new reverse. Precedent is the 1976 Bicentennial quarter.

    Didn’t I see a similar design/theme on a 1999 quarter? Or, am I losing it? Wondercoin
