Not a coin but a cool token I found at a local shop

Can anyone provide additional information on this? I saw it at a local shop but couldn't find anything about it through a Google search.

That's a frickin' cool token. Exonumia is valued based on vaguely defined 'multipliers'. I would say the location, being a Post Exchange (military, e.g. "PX") token, and being good for a beer (it's not a saloon token per se, but it's adjacent) are all multipliers. I would say that's a $70 token easy. In an auction with some motivated bidders I would not be surprised to see upwards of $500.
Edit: FWIW I did not find that token listed on tokencatalog.com (unlisted is another multiplier) but they give this reference:
Military Tokens of the United States - Volume 2, Overseas Issues Cunningham, Paul A. (1998)
That's an awesome find. Army, Beer, Cuba. I agree with the above it multiplies the value. Though I disagree with the guess/appraisal...it is certainly worth more than $70.
I saw one of these go for a few hundred once.
Check out the military tokens thread and post it there.
Great find

Let's see-that might buy you an eye dropper full of beer today. Neat token, tho!
Well, if he sells it to me he can buy a few cases of his favorite beer🍺

Decent token -- catalogs $250 in the military catalog but it does show up now and then. When Cuba opened up to U.S. visitation and involvement a large number of previously scarce to rare Cuban tokens hit the market quickly & in many cases the collectors are still trying to sort out the new rarity schedule. eBay's continuing ban on Cuban items now exacerbates the problem (try listing a token from Cuba, Missouri).
Two collections of older material have recently been broken up and offered which has helped revive the military token market (though not in an entirely rational manner). The price increase of Eastern & Midwest military has been fairly impressive after being dormant for some time. Overseas bases still lag with some notable exceptions.
tokencatalog despite its name is not a catalog but rather a conglomeration of input. It is extremely useful for many purposes but is not the best source for many states, topics, rarity and pricing. If you're serious, a serious library and organizational involvement is still a must.
Anyone who buys in deep to the multiplier concept will end up with an expensive collection of good tokens but will most likely whiff on the great pieces (as it applies to trade and related tokens).
Cedar Rapids, Iowa find? I saw one just like it last week.
Maybe someone's disbursing a hoard, in which case I'll stick with my lower estimate.
Very neat token. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, great token! I know comic books used to be 10 cents.
How much beer could you get for 5 cents? Could you get a pint?
Great token!!

Great token.... I have been to Gitmo, and drank beer on the base. I also remember 5 cent draught beers in the bars.... As a matter of fact, my Dad and I went to the last bar in town with 5 cent beers on the last day before the price increased to a dime. Yeah, I am getting old.... Cheers, RickO
Been to Gitmo but never had a 5 cent beer. I believe it was a dime with shots at 20 cents.
Was there on 8 January thru 20 January, 1973.
