I believe I'm losing it

I decided it was a good time to lighten up on some double eagles so....
why did I buy 4 oz of Platinum and 7 DE's in the last 60 days?
Don't tell my wife.
Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I the only addict on the boards?

Hopefully the electric and water bills have been paid?
You wouldn’t want the power to get shut off.....
Rent or mortgage paid?
Food on the table?
Roth IRA’s fully funded?

You were on the right track selling DE’s with gold nearing 2k. The buying part may require you to participate in a twelve step program.
It's never happened to me ... but I can see how it could happen.
One of my customers hadn't paid his rent in like 13 months, using the covid escape clause. been buying silver ever since like no tomorrow, about two weeks ago, he said they lifted the moratorium on non paying renters, and put on an eviction notice, said he was going to fight to the finish. Well starting yesterday , he is selling as fast as he can to generate cash to keep his place. Only positive is, due to the high demand, he is actually making a profit on what he is selling .
Selfish, gaming the system. He obviously had the money to pay his rent. I despise people like this. The mortgage holder of his rental property probably didn't have the luxury of buying silver instead of paying his mortgage.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.To be clear it's not a money issue but rather a bit of an annoyance that I deviated from my original goal without fully realizing it. .
My wife did sell 7 DE's in the past 2 months and we have sold more coins this year than we bought which is where we wanted to be.
My half hearted frustration lies in the fact that when I reviewed my most recent activity I was a bit surprised as to how quickly my purchases added up.
Buying items of interest (be it coins, art, cars etc.) can be a slippery slope. The fascination and desire to possess can overcome some people. Mental discipline is required. Cheers, RickO
I agree on the 12 step program. lol

Maybe I can get help counting to 12?
Hi my name is Type2 and I have the same problem.
Hoard the keys.
The funny thing is that the number of shots I've bought in my life is dwarfed by the number of coins I've bought.
