AU or MS? 1916-D Barber Quarter

I tried a few different angles. What do you think? Some luster on obverse, the reverse has more luster though.

    I will agree with AU.... and the coin has unsightly contamination or terminal tarnish around the rims. Cheers, RickO

    AU 55 if those black dots don't indicate eviron. Anyway nice coin, no rim bumps and I sent one just like it 35 years ago and it came back from ANACS as AU no grade

    AU. The mint frost is broken on the high points of Ms. Liberty’s cheek.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.     Looks like it had a bit of a bath before it was sent in for grading....
