Been looking for one of these for quite a while.

Quality was there and price seemed reasonable, in today's market.
GTG if you'd like.
Trying to buy all the CCs minus the '89
Like Walkers, it's another early goal of mine from when I was real young.

Thanks for playing. Most of you got it right....it’s a lock 64.
I think it is a perfect complement to my 1885 CC MS 64.

Very nice. I bought one of these last week.
Nice 78. Looking for one myself. The picture reminds me of the types of pics they have on the Northeast website as far as lighting etc
Nice CC Morgan... The CC series is a great one to complete....I did mine years ago (completed it in the early 2K's). Cheers, RickO
MS-64.
The 1878-CC dollar used to be considered a "common date" and didn't get much respect. The prices are a lot higher now than they were 30 or 40 years ago.
Beautiful piece! I'd say 64 as well... I've noticed prices on Morgan Dollars in general creeping up.

I don’t think that it was ever a common date but the prices were a lot lower back then, than they are now (as with everything). I remember, In the early to mid 1990s, when you could get a ‘78 CC GSA for around $100. Most weren’t graded back then, so you could cherry pick the really nice ones.
