Some I still have and some have been sold over the last two years. I used to be grade snob and only go for PSA 8 and above, but really enjoyed learning the hobby and finding cards that were mid grade but hopefully looked like 8’s. Saves a lot of dough when you can do that 😉
Here’s another nicely centered 71T Clemente that just arrived today. It’s got plenty of issues and is closer to 'low grade' than 'mid grade' but check out the centering! $25 pick up that I'm happy to own.

Here are a couple of my favorite mid-grade cards. Love mid-grade especially when they look like much better than assigned grade. \
That has to be the nicest 4.5 in the world. The presentation is off the hook. I'm guessing there is damage to the reverse.
Great card. The Dude
Thanks. The Aaron has a very tiny wrinkle at the very top edge of the card running into the 2nd letter "A" in his last name. If you zoom in and look you can probably see it. It is hard to see.

Good post Tim. As you know, most of us Mick collectors without an unlimited budget rely on mid grade beauties Most of my set is 6 and less…
Holy assballs. This entire thread is filled with cards I would love to have in my collection. Just outstanding taste and eye on each and every one of you.

Love the ‘64 topps! Here’s my Koufax:
If you meant my Mantle, yes it’s a very pretty mid grade card. Here’s a better shot of it (solo, front and back) and another raw that’s probably mid grade, too:

I monitor all the graded 1959 Frank Robinsons that come across Ebay and that 5 of yours outshines almost all of the 8s I've seen. Truly gorgeous example!!

Thank you Tim!! @1951WheatiesPremium 🍻
That Sammy is one of my favorite football cards.
I think this 53 "Say Hey" qualifies for this thread.
A couple of surface wrinkles on this one. It’s one of my favorite cards.
Happy Memorial Day weekend!
And that is the Best Willie Mays card! In my opinion!! Beautiful card!!
Grades 3-5 are really the heart of my collection.
Mid grade = high grade for this set

I'll contribute while watching Indy 500
Some great stuff in this thread.
Always loved the look of that '52 Ollie Matson. Bowman had some really great looking cards in their '50,'51'52 Football card sets.

That Matchbook cover is Awesome!
No creased, I think the small stain in the bottom white may keep this one back. One of my favorites

I like these.

these are lower not mid. I like the Warfield so much I've never contemplated an upgrade. Rosey has dig/smudge but is all I need.
