    Up to $3400 this week?

So a week later gold has jumped $100.

This week's question, up to $3,500 this week?

    GOLD
    $3,472.61
    (+24.63)

    GOLD
    $3,526.50
    (+50.43)

    That didn't take long!

Goldman Sachs says 4500 an oz gold by end of this year due to a variety of reasons I did not pay attention to. I was busy and just visited the basement where Bloomberg Asia Biz channel was on. Had planned to recover funds used for 2025W Sac Buck @2195 delivered by parting ways with three $5 moderns. Now I guess it might just be two. A far better exchange ?

Who's stacking more dirty old gold at 3,646 ?

Gold will see 3600 this year and 4k next year. I am interested to see if silver can break 34 with volume. If it can then we should see 40 silver.

For the record, current price on this 15th of April:

    GOLD $3,294.94 (+65.14)

Gold hit my price target for the year for 3600 and silver for 40. Not sure what is the next target price. But the trend is up for now and next year.

  • 1northcoin1northcoin Posts: 5,038 ✭✭✭✭✭

    GOLD $3,647.09 (+13.59)

As the work week comes to a close, Gold is holding well above $3,600.

In another week $3,700 is likely if the upward trend continues.

The future was now a few hours ago: $3699 & 24k Buffalos at this dealer sell in ten lot groups at about $200 over spot a piece.
So aren't 24k Buffalo really $3900 items when gold sits at $3700 ?

We might see 4k this year and 5k next year because when gold price move up more and more institutions will buy into it which will push the gold price higher like bitcoin.

They are from THAT dealer. Upstate is at +$100.

But you can only sell them at spot

3746 now. According to the front page of Collectors Corner

Well, in geological time, the year 3746 is not that far off. Some 1700+ year old coins do exist, so the some 2025 Gold Sacs may survive to 3746, but will NCLT gold coins dated 3746 get produced?

I have a few items that I am willing to let go now, however it seems almost certain price is heading higher due to countries moving from paper currency, investing from their dollar holdings into gold reserves instead. If I had something to buy, I'd sell, but nothing is on my shopping radar. So, I wait. I wish silver and platinum would get some more love too, like record eclipsing without adjusting down for inflation.

    Dirty old silver

WWII 5c no longer fit on PCGS' coin inflation site in my one image. At the moment these have $2.80 silver per 5c coin.

For some reason silver ounce sits at $50.08 and Silver Eagles only have $50.02 metal content.

Going to bring silver stash home and decide:

    Stay or go ?

Some talking heads on business channels, Bloomberg and CNBC, foretell silver up to 90 in a couple years due to blah, blah, blah...
    50 was 1st necessary step.

In meantime I'll analyze my ATB pucks and ASE ouncer stacks I never look at or enjoy. I deleted my dirty old silver a few years ago at 30 to buy some error coins. I wish I had added a 5 pack of those Apollo Pucks I noticed in a thread here elsewhere. I had stopped buying from Mint during that 7-year window.

I need a day of 4,300 gold to move two 1/4 oz $5 baseball / gloves, proof & unc, to about pay for the Gold 1/2 oz SAQ delivered for 2,195. Was needing to move 3 of them when I added the 2025W 24k SAQ. I liked the idea of curved strike $5 coins so I ordered up a few from the Mint. I recall they were $420 a pop for the proofs ?

Huge volume for silver today but the price close in green which is positive. If it can close tomorrow in green it will go higher in the coming weeks.

Gold should see 4800 next year and silver will see 60 possibly this year. This might be just the beginning of the great bull run.
