OK , I just put up a Tiger portrait as my icon. My son created it last century in elementary school, and it’s making its national debut today, only in this venue.

Costco is selling gold bar pretty cheap. It sold for 2069.99 a oz last Friday. It sold $100 million worth of gold bar last quarter according to a CNN news report. I guess more and more people might buy into gold bar as gold price move up.
This "Money Shot" that I captured from Saturday at the Las Vegas Bowl as Bryant sent airborne the 34 yard ball to Henning that led to the winning touchdown one play later was my Christmas present:

Lightning about to strike! The catch was spectacular! So was the TD throw and catch.
I was freaking out over the defensive stops in the fourth quarter. I played the Gallagher and Flakes' 4th down stop over and over again. I saw it from every angle. The dogs stayed away.
It's been a very Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas here for sure. The football season was like Easter. It's been a great fall (dodged a hurricane) and start to winter here. My gf and I checked out the champion live oak and runner-up of Florida the other day. Her father has some nice live oaks on his property. They're amazing trees.
No gold. Just some silver.
1840-O WB-3 VF25
1878-S WB-1 VG8 - a big acorn
The Cellon Oak - the old champ
Partial shot of the Wilson's Oak - the new champ, fully anchored, and she is in great shape! The tree has a trunk circumference of 36.5 feet, a height of 78 feet, and a maximum crown spread of 180 feet.
The USS Constitution, its hull built of live oak lumber in the late 18th century, was nicknamed “Old Ironsides” after withstanding enemy fire in the War of 1812. Eight-pound cannon balls would just bounce off the sides of it because of the strength of live oak wood.

The trading volume is huge today which is a bad sign on a big down day.
