Do you have any coins, tokens or medals that you know won't grade but still keep it near and dear?

Of course we all have coins from someone that got us started collecting or in a meaningful
sense but what about ones that you just happen to come across and buy it anyways?
.
I try not to keep any that can't grade but this 1892 World's Fair Culumbus is so beautiful I get it
out once in a while just to look at it.The female sitting on the globe engraved by Lauer
is one of the top five designs in my book.I forget the Eglist number but its either
gold gilt brass or maybe plain brass but the toning has almost reached the terminal state.
The fields are still super reflective tho'.
.
Let's see some of what you guys have.

I'd love to get a TrueView of this!
@coinsrfun why do you think that won’t grade? I have similar that graded without issue.
Many in my collection would not straight grade, but are impossible to find replacements for.

.
I was thinking the heavier dark spots might be interpreted as corrosion? Maybe I will try one day soon. I do
have a bunch of different items to send in. Is yours NGC graded?

I like both @keyman64 the 64 I can somewhat understand but still looks uber cool.
The Sac is stunning. Did you submit these several years back? I have a few Sac's that body bagged but will
try again as it sure looks real to me.

Compare to https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2740094-037/66/ and https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2740094-036/64/ both graded higher.
They must have seen mine as incomplete plating, which is fairly standard for these pieces. If you send yours in, they could decided differently, of course.
I have many coins that may not grade, but I keep them. Some probably would grade, but low - and others would get 'details'. But when I get them in change or given to me by a non-collector (because she/he knows I collect coins), I keep them. Cheers, RickO
The Winfield Scott presidential campaign medal has "small pox", but I'm quite sure that it is an original issue piece from the 1852 campaign
And here is a well-preserved, "gussied up" example that was re-struck from the original dies, circa the Civil War.

I see similar looking spots but mine has much more. But, I will try because I need to submit a bunch
of different items so I thank you very much for your input......it means a lot to me.
.
ps...if you ever want to dispose of the one in the first link please let me know.

Thanks for posting these Bill, I love the Winfield Scott pieces. The first one......is it from rusted dies?
Are you saying the second one is AT? Or cleaned reverse? Either way the portrait is extremely appealing to me.

What do you think caused the "small pox"? When I see something like that I think die rust and pitting. The interesting thing is that the restrike from original dies does not have the same effect.
I think that the "small pox" is a form of tin pest. People say tin pest in fatal for a metal, but I have noted that it stops with proper storage. That's a good thing.
I have never seen an example of this classic Polk 1844 presidential campaign medal that didn't have some tin pest.
This coin would body bag in a heartbeat for tooling on the obverse, but I don’t see many coins dated 1793 posted, and my cost was quite reasonable, at least for a wreath cent:
Here's another example. A Liberty Double Eagle Gaming token from the 1800's used quite a bit during the gold rush times in California. Its reeded and quite heavy with gold gilt.

A super beautiful example but because it looks so flat looking with no real luster when rotated I'm fairly certain its been
cleaned. Graded in a nice high mint state this would be quite expensive but I was able to pick this up very reasonable.
