In terms of my own photography, I spent a lot of time getting the perfect shots for one of my favorite coins, and the resulting obverse photo is my all-time favorite. Here it is in high-def, unedited except for cropping.

A photo that impacted me greatly was the Trueview for a coin I never imagined I could own. But once I saw this image I knew I had to have it, and found a way!

Found 50 1995 DDO Lincoln cents back in 1995 in a $25 box from a southern Maryland bank. Used three of these cents in a trade for a uncirculated $2.5 gold quarter eagle Indian head that same year.

    You have any more?

    Sorry, all sold or traded.

Yes, and yet somehow a number of the coins they listed could be found to have come from recent major auctions and cracked from problem slabs by the time they offered them as coming from the safe.

Not the only favorite, but I liked this one as it intentionally has a sparkle off the Proof surfaces.

62 and the memory just kicked in.

When I owned it was PR66BN, however I think the new owner got it upgraded ... I believe it’s PR66+BN now

I feel like 75% of the people here missed the prompt and just posted pics of their favorite coin.... I started a thread just like this over on CoinTalk and the same thing happened.

Anyways, here are some of my favorite shots!

A trip to the pool after visiting a coin store in Myrtle Beach, January 2019.

Two Barber quarters, the day before leaving for the World Scout Jamboree

A deep mirror prooflike business strike of the Third reich, conditional rarity with nice edge color.

A Zacatecas Eagle at the beach on a cold February morning, Tybee Island GA

1917 $2 at the Myrtle Beach Hotel, beach in background

A 1907 Five Marks, Eagle in the backround. Zoo of Atlanta
