Post your personally owned favorite coin picture of all time.................

I posted this and owned this many years ago, but sadly, they're all gone now.
But just having these early halves stacked in a roll was a numismatic treat.

This is my favorite coin. Has it all, flashy luster, great strike beautiful gold toning no visible marks
Has to be my J. Clapp/Eliasberg 1907-s half in PCGS MS-67 CAC. I'm in love with it. It just has "Numismatic Royalty" written all over it. As a kid, I could have never dreamed about owning such a piece. It only took 45+ years of work and school!
My first truly collectible Buffalo Nickel. Photo's by crazyhounddog, thanks Joe.

Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.
This might be my current favorite if only because of how difficult it was to get everything right in the lighting.
TurtleCat Gold Dollars
This is far from my most expensive coin, but it's a big favorite. I never thought that I would ever own a piece of small eagle gold.
This 1796 No Stars Quarter Eagle was the cap stone for the collection, so it is up there.
And there is this ... I love the Draped Bust design and here it is perfectly struck on an early half dime, an unusual venue.
I've got a few favorites for different reasons... I've always like this one.

This is my current favorite coin photo, but just because I like how focused it came out using my iPhone. Only it depresses me somewhat too because now it makes me want to re-shoot pictures of the other 100 or so slabbed coins I already took using my iPhone before I developed the techniques I used on this one.
I don’t think I have an “all time” favorite coin photo though, I’ve taken so many over the last 15 or so years since I first started taking coin pictures

I met her, have both coins.

These are some beautiful coins in this thread!!!
Oh my goodness...having been an enthusiastic photographer as long as I've been a coin collector, since the late 70's when I was a kid...and then got my college degree in Commercial Photography...and have spent my whole life taking bajillions of photos professionally and not...
I have a lot of photos. lol.
Here's one of my favorite more recent pics...literally the Queen of all Franklin Mint coins ever made imho.
For me a true crowning coin achievement. Never really thought I would actually own one of my favorite coins of all time.

What a beauty robec!
That could be all of us driving, once the coin shows open up again.

Photoshopped?

I've never seen a 1919-D with this type of strike or originality. Very smooth surfaces, too.

lol!! I guess I need to take a picture after she shaves!
I think the "fingers" are inconsistencies in the die when it was tooled... it looks "as struck"...

Clean fingers and dirty old gold.

Found 50 1995 DDO Lincoln cents back in 1995 in a $25 box from a southern Maryland bank. Used three of these cents in a trade for a uncirculated $2.5 gold quarter eagle Indian head that same year.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Hmmmmm. Every once in a while the planets all line up and a photo comes out with a spectacular look. I have a few favorite photos, but funny thing...... they're not necessarily my favorite coins. If I have to pick just one, it might be this one:
This is a fairly pedestrian coin that looks stellar in the photo. The play of light over Sacagawea's clothing is fun and it gives the photo depth and presence. It's perhaps slightly over-exposed, but there is plenty of contrast to really show off the design.
I like playing around with PhotoShop, so this is my favorite collage. I think it adds something to the character of the coin:
In terms of my own photography, I spent a lot of time getting the perfect shots for one of my favorite coins, and the resulting obverse photo is my all-time favorite. Here it is in high-def, unedited except for cropping.
A photo that impacted me greatly was the Trueview for a coin I never imagined I could own. But once I saw this image I knew I had to have it, and found a way!
