Half Dollar no FG?

This is a 1974 Denver half dollar. I don’t see an FG. What do you think?

Lol. This so, reminds me of one of my previous "NO FG" test. Same coin too, 1972d. Mine was a stickler too. Half of my posts said NO, and it was close. But in the end. It end up a WINNER.

I'm going to hang on to it for now. I hate to waste the money to get it graded to come back a normal coin. I plan on getting my west points graded. Not sure if any of these companies have bundle deals or not.

A 1974 d fs-901? I have searched thru PCGS and have not found a listing for one. Any help would be appreciated.

At this time I don't think there IS such a thing as a 1974-D FS-901.

So you agree with me that the only coins of 1974 d are weak strikes with faint FG.

Well, that's a '72-D, a known variety for this type, not a '74-D. To the best of my knowledge there's no such thing as a '74-D with missing initials.
