Lincoln Cent NEWP

I needed a Lincoln for my type set, I didn’t care if it’s a key or not, I just wanted the eye appeal.
I think this one delivers... plus an old holder, stable RED!

That’s probably showing about 50% of the extent of the true luster.
It’s got some serious luster!

Nice one Asheland. Hard to find those older holders without being scratched up. Yours looks new!
Great looking copper!
Great find-- excellent eye appeal and the holder does look new-- Key or not, red, luster, and eye appeal are outstanding!
A 65 as well, congrats
Nice.
Very nice and smart to get your red coin in an old holder
Nice one!
Very nice!
A bit more and it would glow in the dark.
Nice new addition.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Nice,even distribution of the luster.
Exceptional!
It was worth the wait. I like how the slab itself doesn't look like it has gone from dealer's box to dealer's box. Fresh-looking coin and presentation. It's a keeper!

@asheland... That is a primo example of an old, red Lincoln Cent.....Booming luster and color. Cheers, RickO
My rule of thumb is 10 years old or older the holder I believe it’s stable at that point.

The holder is mint. And one of my favorite holders for appearance.
I believe it’s the first one they used with the line. Notice the line is fatter than the other, later generations.
