Got a call that a guy dropped off some "old looking rolls" and she asked if I wanted it.
Sure do!!!!
Nothing in the roll of quarters, and about $2 of 1965's in the dimes. The rest were SILVER, untouched since 1965. My hands didn't even get dirty sorting thru all of them.

No silver? All plucked in ‘65. Bummer.
What a great call from your bank, though!
It was all silver excpet the $2 of 1965's.
Looks like $63 FV silver dimes. Really?
COAGULATIONS!
the $$$ may not stop here. look those coins over, the odds of something good date/ddo/error has gotta be higher than normal.

Yep-gotta check 'em for doubled dies for sure. Go here-http://www.varietyvista.com/ to see what exists.
Variety collectors and variety knowledge were both in short supply in 1965 for stuff other than what was in the "Red Book."
You really need to take them some donuts or something.
or something healthy. but take them something.
WOW congrats! Nice find!

Great score there! Definitely be nice to them and maybe bring them something cool tomorrow
TurtleCat Gold Dollars
Or take them donuts and have them give them to whoever made the deposit.
don't raise alarms
They may have more and I wouldn’t want to tip them off.
That's just bizarre. Who would have set aside 13 rolls of silver dimes and then just decided to turn them in for face value? Estate?

Ok, I thought it was all non-silver.
Super score!
I'd sure as heck bring them more than donuts!
Nice score BTW

I asked one to look out for W quarters.

You suck!!
My wife bakes cookies twice a week, but she's got the tellers at four different banks who will set aside any silver coins for her. She also receives a call whenever any customer wrapped rolls come in. She has made several good scores lately, plus a 1966-A red seal $100!
What a great SCORE!
SWEET!

Wouldn't it be nice if you found a 1919 DDO-001 in those Mercs!
Super find. Congrats.
The bank teller is and will be well taken care of for sure. I bring them things everytime I go pick up my half dollars. This will be much better than Starbucks or gift cards.
Wow.... What a super haul that is....Oh yeah, those tellers would get donuts, chocolate, gift cards and a fruit basket. Cheers, RickO
Congrats.
Let us know what dates and mint Mark's (and varieties or errors) you find in both the Mercury and silver Roosevelt dimes.
Plus for the class. Are they circulated or MS? MS early clads are a treat to look through. You may find a gem or two in the clads.
Heirs who just want to get rid of everything as quickly as possible. This is VERY common.
