Hmmm....I picked up a ring like this on eBay about 6-7 years ago for under $30. Mine is a 1942 WLH and wasn't made by this person, but good enough for me. Guess I was lucky to get a great deal on such a valuable item
The bid history (since that's what your asking about) sure seems "interesting" to say the least. . .
That is a farce....No one will be paying $90K+ for that trinket.... Heck, we used to make them in the Navy when out to sea on long trips. Cheers, RickO
One of our local club members makes those now. He's a retired engineer and he'll turn any coin you want into a ring for you. Who is Roman Atwood and why does anyone want to pay that much?

I bought a 1902-S Barber Half ring for around $30. Maybe I will wear it this weekend. Seems it's hard to find these in sizes under 10 but I finally did. I guess the smaller the size the more difficult to make they are.

If this is legit I'll eat your hat.
Saw a video of a guy who makes these a few years ago, takes a lot less time than you'd think.

I’m still laughing😂. Yes shill bidding is the correct answer.
