Has anyone heard any recent news on these two yet? How much they're gonna cost and when they'll start minting them?

Goodness! My advice is to keep checking the Mint website and also sign up for notifications from the Mint.

Be ready with cellphone and computer and you should be able to get one.

Good luck and stay positive! Don't let the negative people get you down😎

Not even on the schedule as TBD... who knows.

Successful B/S/T transactions: As Seller: PascoWA (June 2008); MsMorrisine (April 2009); ECHOES (July 2009) As Buyer: bfjohnson (July 2008); robkool (Dec 2010); itsnotjustme (Dec 2010) TwoSides2aCoin (Dec 2018) PrivateCoin Jan 2019

The way the mint sales are run these days, there will be an "official opening day for the sale" of these pieces, preceded by a back door sale to insider dealers. Most of the mintages will be sold at that time, and the "product unavailable" sign will appear in less than five minutes after the ordering period begins.

My advice is buy a couple of old coins and forget about the news ones. You will be much happier.

Only 10% can go to dealers, if they even allow them the advance sale.

A presale period like the McAuliffe dollar would be nice.

    Many happy BST transactions

Anything released that way you should wait 2 years to buy.

ok, I'll bite - why? 😅 I mean, I think it's a great way to release high demand coins; mint to demand

you think that's a rule across the board? appreciate the advice, just astonished that prices for all us mint products are cheaper on secondary market 2 yrs later

Anything that is not highly limited. That's the catch 22 of mint products: anything that's a struggle to get is worth having, anything that's easy to get isn't.

Nothing wrong with it. It's just much cheaper to buy most things a couple years later.

The Mint could just make everything out of 999 silver so it can monster tone like the ASEs.

Do you want one if they do the same thing to them that they did to the 2016 gold Merc, SLQ and WLH, because that is what will happen.

I would expect to see them listed sometime in June 2021, July at latest. You can count on the usual rush and crash of the site at release time, with sellout in minutes. Then it will be flipper heaven for a year. Cheers, RickO

Released separately in limited quantity with a household limit of one as I recall. I got the SLQ and WLH at issue time but had to get the dime on the secondary market. As I recall, enthusiasm diminished after the dime as well.

With a holder like that you can clearly see the superiority of the Peace design. Just my humble opinion.

Honestly though, you aren't comparing apples to apples.
*The 21 Morgan doesn't have the depth as all the others.
*The 21 Peace is a High Relief Strike.

Like comparing a Ferrari to a Pinto IMO.

The 21 Peace is no doubt one of my all time favorite issues, but, the Morgan Dollar is my all time favorite design.
