Newp 1926-S Peace dollar & guess the grade ***Grade Revealed***

Here's my fourth Peace dollar purchase since detouring (slightly) away from Morgans for the time being. I understand the toning isn't for everyone, but for me, part of the challenge & interest in collecting is to locate what I find to be attractive rim toning on silver dollars. Peace dollars are notoriously difficult to find in colors that approach the Morgan series, but that's not what I'm attempting to do here. Whether the differences in toning between the dollar series are due to time stored in canvas bags, alloy impurities or air quality or a combination of all three variables is probably not really testable, or repeatable.
Thanks for taking a look at the coin.... feel free to guess the grade!

Lots of anti-tarnish gaslighting in the comments lol... I don't know how people can love blast white coins so much, but to each their own... Thanks for looking & for the comments!

MS64, average quality
At one time I specialized in Peace Dollars. Buyers off the bourse were seeking pieces that were PQ - brilliant, wellstruck, super luster, no excessive marks for grade, etc. Especially for expensive better date material. Toned pieces essentially shunned.
For a 1926-s my expectation a fresh roll blazer if spending big money. The coin above / pass.
I agree--MS64
65
MS65
I like the coin - not so much the tarnish.... I would pass on that one. Cheers, RickO
MS65. Well struck for the issue (some eagle shoulder weakness), pretty clean cheek, clean eagle, a few ticks here and there. Appears to have really nice luster. The toning is neutral to slightly negative for me. I don't mind it so much personally, but it is generally not favored by the market. It's always easier to buy these than sell these.
I agree with 65. I don't mind the toning either.
Solid 64. Maybe a 64+ The luster looks super nice from the tru view
I like that toning.
The strike is good, too.
I'll say 64.

Toning isn’t enough to be a turn off. I expect the luster blazes right through it.
I actually rather like the toning, and I'll bet the luster makes it glow. Strike looks pretty hammered, and I think it's between a 64 and a 65.

I dig it
65
I'll venture 64. Toning is neutral to slightly negative for me.
I like it! MS65.
I like it too, I would put it at 64+/65
65, shame about the tarnish but The Wiemans can make her beautiful again.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
The 65's have it! Thanks for looking & thanks for all the anti-tarnish comments too!

I would have gone 65 as well. I like that one

Not a fan of the patina on that either...
Yet as most all 26-S's have a pretty good personality so looks don't matter much
Did you expect anything different?
I'm going to start going to car shows and tell the owners "nice car but its a shame you didn't paint it in my favorite color - here's the number to a good painter!" and see how that goes over.
