    RIP Rodney

USAF (Ret) 1974 - 1994 - The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries. Remembering RickO, a brother in arms.

Nothing beats Rodney when he starts in on his wife’s cooking. One of the legends for sure.

All his graded coins would 'get no respect'.

"Gold is money, and nothing else" (JP Morgan, 1912)

"Gold is the canary in the financial coal mine." (Alan Greenspan)

"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)

Actually, he was a collector...I met his wife at a Long Beach show after he passed...

And that’s how little respect he still gets.
You set up a great story about him and don’t even bother to tell it.

    We're all born MS70. I'm about a Fine 15 right now.

Had the honor of seeing him up close and live once.

Sweating, pulling his collar and tie, shuffling his feet. As an NHL fan I will never forget " I went to the fights last night and a hockey match broke out "

    Back to School
"Why don't you call me sometime when you have no class."

Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

2 of my favorites. 1)Said as a child he got separated from his parents on the boardwalk. He goes up to an officer and asked: Can you help me find my parents? Cop replied I don't know kid there are so many places they could hide! 2)He was at the carnival with his father. Dad, can we go into the crazy house? Why son we'll be home in a little while.

Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".
