While their advertising style might be annoying, it has worked for them for several decades. Yes, I did see the high price for a circulated '64 Kennedy. On the flip side, they are major contributors and benefactors to the ANA.

Add shipping and that Kennedy half dollar is almost $44. There's no way that a knowledgeable person would pay that much or even half that much.

Their introductory offers are great. Sets of small dollars at face value, etc.

But their normal prices are outrageous.

Years ago, my Mother purchased a coin for me through this company. And then the mailings and unsolicited coins started arriving.... I finally wrote a letter and combined it with the last coin and told them clearly, that anymore coins sent would be kept with no payment, and to remove the name from the mailing list. It ended. Do not like ads at all but it is the price one pays to use the site.
Some days I can ignore them and other times I change the "channel" and try back later.
