Finished my Ike’s!

Finally finished my Eisenhower dollar dansco. May not be a big deal to some of you but it’s nice for me!! All from mint sets and proof sets and OGP. Got an error in there as well.

That’s awesome 🌞
would that error be a struck through a bolt maybe?

Posted a whole thread about it a couple years ago. That was the consensus. If I ever start sending coins to PCGS (hopefully soon) I plan on sending it in.
Nice raw set,,,,,,
Congratulations! They look terrific!

Congrats. A great feeling for sure. Keep up the search. What's next, which is another great feeling.

Actually really close to finishing my Kennedy’s which I’m REALLY excIted about. About 10 more coins left on it
Congratulations on a nice set of Ike's.
Congratulations!
With 4 unlabeled slots, look to fill them with: 1971 S proof ODV 4 (with ODV 5 in the labeled spot), 1972 Type 2 and 1972 Type 3 (with 1972 Type 1 in the labeled spot), and 1971 D RDV 6 Friendly Eagle.

Gonna have to do some research on those but that sounds like fun!
@scooter25
Nice coins!
The 76-S unc. Looks super gemmy as does your 78-D and 76-D.
Congrats! And it IS a "big deal".
I got one as well. Congrats on a cool set to have 1😎
What an accomplishment. It's great to have all the pieces in a nice booklet like that. Peace Roy

Nice set! Love the struck thru. Ikes are an underappreciated set. I had a complete set in a dansco, now I am working on a PCGS graded set. Just need the 72 T2 and T3 and the 71 D Friendly Eagle to complete it. Getting ready to.give up and buy ATS and cross them at this point.
A journey completed! Congratulations!
@scooter25.... Congratulations.... Always a good feeling to complete a project. Nice coins. Cheers, RickO
Congrats!

Congratulations!
Congratulations. Very nice. I to have a raw set. Not as nice condition as yours for sure.
are you going to pursue a "slabbed" set now?
Kennedys are my quest...
No don’t think so. I am more of a Kennedy collector. This was just a side project. I have danscos for pretty much all denominations I’m working on
Congrats on finishing your set!
I don't believe the 1971P and D came from mint sets or OGP. You had to pull them from circulation. Those are very nice examples.
Cut them out of the cellophane myself lol
Sorry, they were not in the 1971 or 1972 mint sets at all.
They first appeared in the 1973 mint sets.
My mistake then. They were some of the first ones I got. I guess mostly from mint sets and proof sets and ogp .
Looks like a struck thru reed fragment to me. A bolt would have dug much deeper and probably would have ruined the die as well.

is the 1972 type 2 in there? just curious (that might be a d on it as well
Nice completion. Congrats. Love those Modern HUGE dollars! Bet you can use your newly completed Dansco album for a door stop? Lol. Those are heavy man.

You've put together a very nice set! They are fun to put together. I finished mine a few years ago and haven't looked at it for a while. I think there may be a couple that could be upgrade because they came from bank rolls. Hey if you let me know what Kennedys you need I may be able to help.
I’ve got a post over on the BST forum that has the list I’m looking for. Mostly really recent stuff with the exception of a few
That's what I thought as well.
Congratulations! Nicely matched set.
That is very nice. I have a set of Ike's but nothing to compare with this. I admire that you've gone after what you really like, that's collecting for the love of it. Really brightened my day!
Your 71-D looks superb GEM. The others are top-notch too. Good going!

Congrats, good to see a nice set come together.
It is definitely struck through a reeding fragment.
Very cool set!
