Newp's!!

1878 7/8 TF ( thinks it's a vam33A not sure yet),
1892 Barber, 1914 D/D barber, and a 1913 type 1
The Morgan looks a little undergraded and pl in my opinion and I love those old ANA holders!

really love the coins especially the dime
thinking about getting them graded?
Kennedys are my quest...
Love the 78 7/8 and that slab .... ⭐️
I'm unsure,
I don't know if the dimes would grade high enough to Merritt the cost of holdering.
The barber's caught my eye so I grabbed em and found a 14 D/D . These are my first barber dimes and I have 0 knowledge about that series. But I really like these two and need a new series to start so I think I found my new one!
Thank you!

Edit to add: a few pictures of the VAM. Nice prominent doubling on the legs, clash on the obv. Doubling on the letters obv. Tripled an doubled stars.
WOW! What did you pay??!!!q
I mainly traded, got rid of a few common date BU Franklin halves and two Peace dollars . Little cash out of pocket.
Roughly what value? Those seem like some PQ coins!
Talked em down to 100$ a piece on the barber's . Traded for the Morgan, 245$
And 22$ for the buff!
Edit to add: what is pq?
Cool coins
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
Thanks !
Premium quality. Typically refers to a coin as high end for the assigned grade.
I like all of them!
Thanks for terminology!
Thanks 😊
Good stuff 🙂
Certainly an eclectic group of coins.... Looks like you are focusing on 'coins' and not a series...

Me three.
Noice.

Double-edge sword with that slab. It's the reason there's very dark toning at the edges of the coin.

Are you saying the coin is oxidizing in the slab?
Great looking coins, especially that old ANA-holdered Morgan! Love that look of rim toning on the obverse & reverse.
Those holders used to be my wheelhouse when they were easier to find with higher graded Morgans in them. Most have been cracked and resubmitted to other slab companies now. I've done that to about 95% of my old ANA holders and they are very accurately graded.

Well that sucks I really like that holder..
Is there something I can do to keep it from oxidizing but still keep it in the holder it's in?
I'm really not sure. It might be done toning because of the holder, so it may not matter, but it's best to keep photos of it now and then check back in a couple years to see if it has changed.

I will do that. Thanks !
Interesting coins, but what is a gingerbeast?
