Stay warm!!!
Enjoy the snow while you have it ... it'll be gone in 3 weeks or so.
just think.... Easter is around the corner
not much frost on your quarter
what those vehicles need is the road snow plowed to cover them some more, than the snow turn to rain, then the temperature drop turning them all into blocks of ice

They originally called for 8"-10" of snow here in Northeast Ohio but we've been getting freezing rain for the last couple of hours so accumulation won't be anything close to that. Honestly, I'd rather have the snow. Both my wife and I are retired so we don't have to go out in that mess.
Here's a couple of "8" coins, with the dollar being the "Hot Lips" variety. I don't think Miss Liberty's lips are gonna be too hot tonite, tho.
1968 and frosty.
Ah, good memories of the Illinois winters.

East central Ohio. 30 deg. & rain for the last 8 hours. Instead of the forecast of 8 " of snow, we have an inch of ice. Nope, not going anywhere tomorrow.
Welcome to winter

We "downstaters" aren't really used to it anymore after 8 or so really mild winters.
I enjoy the snow though.
At least this snow is light and powdery and easy to shovel.
Something white for you...

Love the snow pics. I miss all that snow!

Here in Canada, 15 inches of snow is nothing.
We're quite innovative when dealing with excess snow.......................
Also, we're very capable of getting to our precious Tim Horton's for our morning coffee, even if the roads are closed.
We can take our snowmobile.......................
Or we can take a dog-sled.....................
Or if all else fails, we can hop on a moose or two........................

The weather people last night put 100% chance of 5-8 inches last minute (there originally was just supposed to be rain). I woke up and lo and behold zero inches. 😆 need to also watch out Wednesday and Thursday here could get anywhere from 7-14 inches. Stay safe!
I can't help thinking golf season will begin in about 7 to 8 weeks.
Wife has got me painting many rooms in the house, so time should fly by.

Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I still remember being a newly employed eager worker, digging my car out of 2 feet of snow and driving to the office, only to find that the governor had shut the state down and no one was at work!
Just got foot of snow in Idaho but I'm not there!
We got some too!
15" of fresh powder in the Colorado mountains but very little on the front range. But a triple snowman on this coin........

8 inches or so here in Detroit. Windy too.
Agreed. I live close to the OP and we got at least 18.
March is still to come. A very unpridictable time weatherwise.

I'm out in the suburbs close to the CSNS venue, and we didn't get much last night, maybe 3-4 inches. It might actually warm up to 20 today, but barbecue isn't happening.

WOW ... you must mean 3-4 inches times 3.
Looks like a lot of crazy weather all around!

We even got about 10 or so inches up in Northwest Washington state though it’s melting down a bit this morning at a whopping 38 degrees.
Here’s some 8’s and Washington state snow scenes.

Nope. Just 3-4 inches on top of the 2 feet we already had.

Wow. Thanks for sharing.
It is snowing where I am too, but we only have an inch or so that has fallen so far.
Your experience reminds me of my time In Chicagoland as a college student when a winter snowstorm shut the city down.
I am still trying to locate a photo taken between the shore of Lake Michigan and one of the buildings on campus with the snow piled up. Did come across this one though of my dorm with the alley way fronting it which brought back memories of a soft drink truck that was abandoned there in that same alley way by its driver due to the snow storm. When it was finally retrieved days later the soft drinks were no longer aboard.
Dang, was gonna jump in here with a cool Snow variety of the Flying Eagle/Indian style, but I suppose it also fits the alternate definition of "snow". That said, no snow here in beautiful California, but we did manage to get almost 2 inches of rain the last couple of days.
Gorgeous V nickel's Crazyhounddog! That dime too but that toning on the 1883...whoa!
