Trade Dollar NEWP - "Original"? Leather Pouch Toning? Like or Dislike? (Update - Video added)

Welcome to my new piece. I'm a type collector and saw this TD as an opportunity to fill this slot. I like the reverse design on this issue, not so much the obverse. What attracted me to the piece was the "original" looking surfaces and that the look was distinctive from other typical gray versions.

Do you like the darker chestnut toning or does this one make you hold your nose? Many TDs did see overseas duty so I'm guessing long ago that this coin was kept in a leather pouch to produce its color.

The pics are a little misleading in that the coin has proof like surfaces readily viewed on the obverse.
