About 15 years ago I decided to try and put a type set together of coins with ANACS photo certificates. It's not complete, but this is what I've managed so far. Some coins I have submitted to PCGS. I'll post it in sections. First, 1/2 cents, large cents and small cents.
Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions

Yes, a typo, should've read EF40/40.
😍😍
Sweet I like
That's an impressive way to build a type set, nice job so far!
@relicsncoins... nice set.... a lot of patience and searching there.... Good luck with completion. Cheers, RickO

Wow, amazing that you’ve not only been able to locate these, but that you’ve also been able to acquire such nice examples!
Thanks, I remember some of those but not all. I appreciate your sharing and hope to see more.

That's a great project. One of my proudest achievements as a coin-collecting elementary school kid was recognizing a weak strike and buying an 1865 3cn from a B&M dealer as an XF for $14, submitting it to old photo-cert ANACS, and getting it back as MS60/60. I sold that coin the week I graduated from college so I could buy some new shoes. LOL
Fun to see how standards have drifted, too. Your XF40 flying eagle cent looks like it might make 58 today.
I just love the stylistic "2" in the date on the Half Cent.

Half Dimes, only two.
Very cool way to assemble a type set! You going to crack 'em out into a Dansco 7070?
Beautiful! Love the war nickel!
I am trying to do the 7070 in rattlers, I thought that was a difficult set. You beat me with a difficulty score X 10.
Nice!!
What are your thoughts on the proof half dime? Is it a proof or a proof like business strike.
It is notoriously difficult to determine proof vs. non-proof from a photo.
I can see what I call the V-12 date position (right and steeply uphill) on your coin, but that is inconclusive.
Most of the 1862 proof half dimes are V-3 and some are V-2.
Both V-3 and V-2 also have business strike examples.
And there may be additional date positions which are proofs.
I have not yet attributed all the 1862 proof auction photos to determine this.
Above is an 1862 date position photo array, created with photos from PCGS CoinFacts, Heritage Auctions, and the Stephen Crain collection.
Thanks for the great info.

Wow what a neat set! I’d love to buy a truckload of “xf40” flying eagle cents that look like yours
It's interesting, some coins are way under graded by todays standards, some are spot on and some are straight graded that have obvious problems. That FE is probably a 53-55 today.
Have you had any luck with a barber half yet? I don't think I have ever seen one, and I've seen quite a few photo certs. I have seen dozens of barber dimes and quarters with photo certs.
No luck yet, not for lack of effort. My Barber dime and quarter I'm looking to upgrade. The quarter is cleaned and I'm not fond of the look on the dime.
Stunning for sure!!
@relicsncoins, looks like the 1891-S dime might be slabbed. If so, what grade did it get?
Looks like it could be a 64 or better from the photos.

20 Cent pieces and quarters. Finally got around to updating this.
Wow!
Barber, Standing, 90% silver and clad.
The 1818 is probably my favorite coin of my set.
Good favorite! Awesome look!! Probably 5 points undegraded as well.

Thanks. The photo is from before I submitted it to PCGS. It currently resides in an MS62 holder. So does the 1858 half.
This is an awesome set and one that would easily take 15 years to complete.

Rest of the halfs. I have several other classic commems but for the sake of teh 7070 format, here are 4.
