OT - Lost a truly great father-in-law the other day, Please post a coin from 1937

Sunday morning, a true great one passed away. He grew up in a poor Pennsylvania mining area and worked his way up to be head of distribution for Nabisco- with no college degree, just integrity and smarts. I was lucky enough to marry his youngest daughter and be part of an outstanding family. He was one of those true gentlemen that we don't see often anymore. Please post a coin from his birth year, 1937. (Or anything Nabisco related!)

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s hard to overcome sometimes. Hang in there as time has a way of healing.
Sorry for your loss.
So sorry, he'll be missed for sure.
Seems like they don't make them like that anymore. My F & L did the same with a 8th grade education. Became VP of PIE trucking. Just worked his way to the top with his desire and hard work. Passed many years ago but family misses him everyday.
Be well,
best to the family.

Sincere condolences to you and yours on the passing of your father-in-law. Here is the only 1937 coin I own:
So sorry for your loss. Good in-laws are special. My collection is short on ‘37s. Tried to get a decent phone pic of my 66FB Merc and couldn’t pull it off. Here’s a quarter of slightly lower quality. Prayers for your family.

I'm sorry for your loss.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. Sounds like a solid man from a time that forged a lot of solid people.
My Mom was also born in 1937, and unfortunately, she has also passed. Born to immigrants on Chicago's South side, my Mom became a Who's Who Among American Universities at Northwestern and a brilliant Speech Pathologist and Teacher over the course of her career. She also touched lives in many other ways. I still miss her, almost nine years later.

Sorry to hear about your loss, he must have been great to be around, and his story reminds me of my own father.
Also sorry I couldn’t get a better photo to honor your loss:

Thanks everyone for the kind words about him, we all knew 1 maybe 2 like him.

That middle Walker is a beautiful coin! Can i ask the grade?
Condolences to family and friends. RickO

@d9lowe Thanks. It is 'only' an NGC MS 65. Looked better to me, as far as both strike and surfaces go, for a Denver Walker of 1937. Luster is MUCH better in hand. Purchased from Heritage in the Summer of 2013 for $765.00, after missing out on a fully original PCGS 65 OGH CAC, that now resides in a MS 66 holder. I might still pick up a PCGS MS 66, someday, for my PCGS registry set but I really do like this coin, so I plan to hold on to it.

@Walkerfan Wow, that surprising. I am starting a short set of MS 65 or higher Walkers and am getting good at noticing good ones. Thanks for the response!
