It looks like a die clash...... Cheers, RickO
I'll bow to the experts on this one
as I don't have a clue as to its authenticity and would just keep on walking
Kennedys are my quest...
I've reported the listing. I hope I don't sound overly picky or unappreciative of your efforts, but your links aren't always conspicuously posted. And that might result in fewer reports. This time, I clicked on two different ones, before reaching the listing.

Dunno - I have a clashed 3 cent silver where the star appears to be incuse on the opposite side.
That cent is also strange in that the obverse has close to AU details, but the reverse is barely Good....in addition to the unusual colors, and chunky looking numerals in the date.
Could be a fun study piece, but I wouldn't want to pay any real money for it.
What's the known mint employee hanky panky back then. Could've been a restruck slipperoo IHC? Peace Roy

i'll work on that but i don't get too concerned about reporting, mostly education and sharing. i want the links in the posts for posterity but i don't want to cause frustration either so i'll go back to putting linked "periods" so they are there if needed but not as to be distracting or confusing. ty for feedback!
i appreciate someone else coming along and sharing their insight into items like this and by reporting it is saying you agree it is wonky.
Thank you.
